「黑神锅传奇」The Black Cauldron (Disney Gold Classic Collection) (1985)是迪斯尼经典动画里最另类的一部作品。剧情叙说一位名叫塔兰(Taran)的少年,为了保护故乡跟平,而与魔王The Horned King反抗,阻拦其应用黑神锅的魔力伤害众人。本片也是迪士尼动画第一次应用盘算机来帮助拍摄,不外只有短短多少个画面罢了。 本片在某些地域上映时采取另一片名“Taran and the Magic Cauldron”,并且片中有一些迪士尼动画里少见的血腥画面,与以往迪士尼动画作风好像有些差别,因而本片被定位为只针对青少年不雅众,悬殊于其余合适阖家欣赏的迪士尼片子。本片也是迪士尼动画第一次藉由电脑来帮助拍摄,不外只有短短多少个画面罢了,到了隔年的「妙妙探」,迪士尼才第一次用电脑制造出一个独破的场景。本片是迪士尼经典动画里最另类的一部作品,由于走的不是传统家庭道路,故迪士尼对本片能否要推出录影带始终心存张望,何况另有一些版权等的争议…不外经由外部多少番相同后,本片终于在1997岁尾首度在英国刊行录影带,然而心细的影迷破刻发明有多少幕被删掉落了。为此还向迪士尼提出抗议…至于美国则在1998年首度刊行录影带,刊行的则是现在完全的版本。
